One-mile open ocean swim
There are three divisions, open division, with a cash prize, high school division, and masters (50+) division. There will be awards for the top 3 male and female swimmers in each division. The entry fee for the 1-mile swim is $20. Registration is at 4:00 pm at Hiering Avenue (North end of boardwalk). There will be a beach barbecue with the awards ceremony after the swim featuring music from 105.7 the HAWK. Includes, beer, soda, water, hot dogs, hamburgers, and salads. There is a $10.00 entry fee into the beach party for all non-race participants. Make Checks payable to L.A.S.H. (Lifeguard Association of Seaside Heights) Municipal Building, 901 Boulevard, Seaside Heights, NJ 08751. Seafood in Seaside Seafood Festival
Grant Avenue
If you love seafood, Seaside Heights is the place to be! Come enjoy great food, live music, arts & crafts and our flea market. The Seafood Festival will feature, garlic crabs, mussels, clams, shrimp, oysters, blackened tuna, sushi, scallops, crabmeat, seafood bruschetta, crab & corn chowder and much more. Seafood will be provided from local restaurants, including, On Top of Spaghetti, Greek Peak, Ryan’s Deli & Catering. Over 60 vendors flea market and craft are registered to participate in the event. The vendors tables will be overflowing with a wide variety of items for all ages, including jewelry, wood and ceramic products, doll cloths, wind-spinners, hand blown glass art, bonsai trees, flower arrangements and clay sculptures and much more. -more- Jenkinson’s Aquarium will provide a make and take craft area for children. Commerce Bank and the Seaside Heights Business Improvement District will be sponsoring the event.
Sunday, September 9 9am to 5pm 28th Annual Antique Car Show
Bay Boulevard
Join the Vintage Automobile Club of Ocean County as they present their 28th Annual Car Show. Registration is between 8am to 11am Over eighty tophies awarded each year not including the trophies for "Best Pre-War", "Best Post-War", "Best Work in Progress", "Rusty Bucket" and "Oldest Car". A car raffle will be drawn at 3:30pm"Dash Plaques" & Goodie Bags will be given to the first 300 cars!! We'll feature door prizes, food, trophies and awards and they'll even be a Chinese Auction.

11 a.m. & 1 p.m. FREE - "Clownfest Clown Shows" Clown Stars present Fun Comedy Shows at the Franklin Avenue Stage.
11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. FREE - "Clown Balloon Express" Meet clowns to have a fun balloon creation made just for you. At two boardwalk booth locations.
12:00 p.m. FREE - "Family FUN Frolic" Families & Clown Games. Families have a beach ball with the Clowns. At two Boardwalk locations.
1:30 p.m. FREE - "Clown Kazoo Band" on the Boardwalk. See the Clowns as they march down the Boardwalk.
2:00 p.m. FREE - "Funny Factory Clown Band" on stage. Live band music and show with a real clown brass show band. At the Franklin Avenue Stage.
3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. FREE - "Clown Facepainting Demonstration" Meet clowns to have your face painted. At two boardwalk booth locations.
4:00 p.m. FREE - "Clown Skit Show" Carteret Avenue Stage. Award Winning Fun Clown Routines and Comedy Magic on Stage.
9:00 FREE - Fireworks Display on the beach.

Sunday, September 16th
10:30 a.m. FREE - Clown Competitions, Boardwalk. Clown participants from around the world compete for trophies.
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. FREE - Parade Registration for Amateur & Kiddie Clowns. All ages can sign up for the clown parade participation to win trophies.
11:30 a.m. FREE - "Clownfest Clown Show" Clown Stars present fun comedy show at the Franklin Avenue Stage
2:00 p.m. FREE - "BIG CLOWN PARADE" FUN Clowns & Marching Bands march down the Boardwalk. Clown Competition & Awards after the parade on the Franklin Avenue Stage.

15th Annual Columbus Day Parade and Italian Street Festival

Enjoy arts & crafts vendors, antique car show and entertainment. And for your palate there will be all your Italian favorites--sausage & peppers, zeppoles, pizza and so much more for your tasting pleasure. Of course the highlight of the weekend is our 13th Annual Columbus Day Parade. The parade will take place at 1:00 p.m. on the Boulevard on Sunday, October 7. There will be bands, floats, mummers and surprises!! So for a memorable time, come to the 15th Annual Columbus Day Parade and Italian Street Festival and book one of our motels and stay the weekend!!
